Last weekend i was cleaning my car so I started messing with my amp. Its a P6001bd rated at 841rms. I worked at a car audio shop so i cherry picked it. But anyways 2 type "R" 12'' the old style hit hard. I forgot because I Had everything turned way down since may. So I am just mainly reminding those of us who havent tuned our amps in a while to jump in the trunk and play with them.


Does anyone with an siralp1 or sirpnr1 notice the subs hit way harder with the same song coming through sirius vs. cd? or is it just me?

probably the station your listening to is boosting the low end of the music their playing. I know when i switch to a top 20 station on xm, the low end output increases dramatically.

dude, this is soo true!!!^ yea no commercials r great but the sounds isnt that much better than FM just slightly. my ipod kills sirius on SQ

mine sounds good to me. i honestly listen to more stand up and talk stations than music on sirius.

Satellite is CD quality, its just compressed so basically you are hearing that compression. Ever listen to a crappy encoded mp3? Sounds exactly the same as XM or Sirius.

As per the post, yes they do boost certain freq. And as noted above, top 20 on XM they fricken boost that low end so much!

still prefer a cd...but yea if you burn a cd with stupid small compression it would sound like ballz also. so idk
