Im currently deciding on a deck, still leaning towards one of the alpines but, Ive always wanted one with a HU with an output level indicator similar to the output indicator on the 05 EX SE 6-disc HU, is there another name for that display? equalizer etc?

I dont want the EX SE, rather a better HU with less chance of theft, I'll probably get either the 9853 or 9855 but would love something with the display i mentioned............anyone know of a good HU like that???

The ouput indicator is the spectrum analyzer, isn't it? I have an Alpine EQ and has 31 bars moving around when I play music~~~~~. That's a 31-band graphic EQ anyway.....

It's pretty much useless, unless you want to show off. I usually turn the spectrum off so that I won't get distracted from it when driving.....Very annoying at night when I see that bright white bars jumping.....

THe Pioneer 860/8600MP have it, as well as a few other types of "Audio Visualization"
