well im saving money for a K-Swap and i sold my previous system.. i had 2 PBX 12 inch subs powered by a Diamond Audio Technology 1200.1 amp. that thing pounded but like isaid im saving for a K so i sold it.. now i want something else but nothing extreme i just need alittle bass nothing like before.. im lookin to spend 300 MAX perferrably less.. ill even ebay.. now my question is what is a decent small system .. 10's or 12 sub .. i dont want to upgrade my factory speakers i still want a sub so what do u guys suggest gettin for a sub and amp that will still give me some decent "thump".. thx

well if you still want a little thump go with a 12"
if you want clear bass then one 10" is all you need.
as far as amp don't go crap but look for like nice mono amp or a 2-ch and bridge it.
need to pick a sub before you pick an amp first though.

if you're looking for entry-level prices with decent performance there are quite a few options... Kicker Comps/CompVRs, Fosgate P1s, Alpine Type Es/Ss are all over eBay, and they're cheap as hell...

i have a Rockford Fosgate P2 15", a 400-watt MTX amp, AND a sealed box that i'll sell you for $300... fits in a Civic with no probs, doesn't use much power, and it hits hard and clean... if you're interested just PM / e-mail me for pics, etc....

i dont know much about them brands never had them but out of all of them what one do you *think* is the best or prefer i guess.. anyone leave ur thoughts out of htem ones im lookin on ebay and im gonna buy one soon

well i ended up spending a little more (dont you love moms) and i got a Alpine SWX-1242D Dual 4 ohm 3,000watts peak. thx anyways though..

what kind of amp do u guys suggest to push one of these? jl 500/1? jl 1000/1? alpine amp?? thx
