RSX leather = no headrest for lcd screens...
RSX leather = no headrest for lcd screens...
I have rsx leather, and am trying to find a good place to put screen in the back, for passengers... does anyone have a good mounting place for them? i can't do a flip down because i have a sunroof. but what are my alternatives? has any one taken this challenge on and succeeded?
its just a thought, i don't know if i'll actually mount them anywhere... your comments appreciated.

i have rsx seats and you CAN fit a screen there but its gunna be tight on the back of the seats!
i guess you didn't understand my wording, i *dont* want to cut my seats, i was wondering if maybe someone else who has aftermarket seats and cant put them in their headrest if maybe they chose an alternate location...

haha well actually i would get a cheap 7" portable screen and wire up your own connectors for power and signal to like 1 molex connector so then can hold the screen and its out of the way when you arent using it. like a 7" in a case and have a plug for it on the side of the center console. that could work well
it was just an idea, just thought maybe someone bought a 7" and made a bracket for it, for it to connect somewhere between the 2 seats in the center console...
i already have a carputer, just thought i'd try to put something so that people in the back can watch instead of peeking their heads out the whole time...

well if you pop the plastic hole cover thingy there IS a metal U there that you could possiby build something off of. i dunno. at least its a start.
lol.....why? just leave it alone. put an indash in or something. headrest monitors in a civic are pointles....unless all youre friends are midgets. Last time i checked....i mean this could just be MY 7thgen.....theres no room in the backseat.
ill never forget what Chris Rock said: (in regards to "bilng") the tv's is on, and ain't noone in the backseat!"

oh ok...

YES thats my car
NO they dont look that 'off' color wise in person. my camera was being moody that day.
as you can see they are very nice. the straighter you sit in them the comfier they are and the more they hug you. actually i have better driving posture now that im sitting in a nice set of expensive (recaro?) seats than the crappy stock civic lx seats!
a better pic form the donor car.. this is almost exactly the color...
