which capacitor

I searched this and could find anything but are there any differances in capacitors...brandwise that are better than others and what would be a better work....1/2 a farad or 1 farad

all caps are basically the same.... So it really doesnt matter... For systems up to around 500 watts use .5 and for anything big use 1

Lightning audio have some awesome caps, and they are cheap, even for the digital reads!

All Caps are not the same. There's 20 and 24 volt surge caps.

Basically Best Cap for the money is Lighting audio Strike series.

ok i started searchin for the caps and they have some with a digital display is that really needed or is it just a sucka you in cosmetic thing

when i get a cap for my System, im gonna go with the Lightning Audio Strike Monitor Top. it doesnt have the LCD readout (which i think is excessive) but it has the 10segment LED meter so at least you can tell how much power is being used if you want to. the .5 farad version of that cap is only $99 at crutchfield and the 1 farad one is only $130, too
