yes, get a 1 farad capacitor and there will be no dimming to worry about.

yea it will work but your going to have to keep it down if it actually runs at those numbers...rec. caps and deepcyl batts

1 x 900 Watts @ 1 Ohms

1 x 1200 Watts @ 2 Ohms

less power with less resistance- something wrong with those numbers

you will have alot of dimming with that amp. with almost any amp you get dimming.
I have a 1 farad cap and almost no dimming, but there is still some there.
caps arent worthless. people are retarted and for some reason everyone tries to scientifically prove they do nothing. the really do do something. they store energy.
if they were useless would you see them on motherboards, ECU's, and just about EVERY electronic device you have ever used?!
They have a purpose. And in a car audio set up they help the car maintain a higher voltage, which means less dimming.

all you need to know is you will have LESS dimming with a cap. not NO dimming, but LESS.

its not the amp, its the current pulled that causes dimming, id say anything over 500watts will cause noticeable dimming.

i have a total of 1000 watts rms on my car, 2 4 gauge kits and 2 1 farad and 1 1.5 farad cap[s] in my car and i cant even turn my bass amp up past a 1/4 because voltage runs bellow 11 volts and amp runs in diagnostic, i am getting a group 27 batt this weekend, and if that doesnt fix it, a 80farad digi cap, i payed for that power i want to use it!

Im running a JL 500/1, which is 500 - 600 watts RMS (different ratings from different sources) at 4 ohms.

my cap is a lightning audio cap. 1 farad. i recommend them to anyone, they are cheap, and have a very quick discharge; faster than most other caps.

How many RMS are your Subs. Can the Jl push them easily. I might get that with the Lightning Audio cap.
