hi! what's the difference between 2 way,3 way, and 4 way in a 6X9 speakers? thanks

alright full range speakers contain compontent [speakers] within them, 1 is the woofer 1 is a tweeter, that is a two way or coaxial set up, a three way contains a supertweeter for better high frequency sounds (triaxial,) and a four way contains 3 tweeters and one woofer...the more the better

do you recommend (4) 6x9 for SQ? if yes, what kind of 6x9 (2way, 3way, or 4way)?

i have 4 ways 6x9s and 4way 5 1/4, pioneer also made a 5way 6x9- i would at least get 3ways -they dont make that many 6x9 component systems

the number of "ways" a speaker has is a scam.... it makes no differnece, if anything it sounds worse. don't get 6x9's for SQ, get round speakers. also, search before you post. locked.
