M3 Mirrors Installed! *Pics*
Here you go guys. Im not making this for everyone to ask ?'s. There are tons other threads about it.
the pics:
peek-a-boo! lol
I have the amber hooked up as turn signals, and the blue LEDS are to a switch in the car in case i want them on as driving lights. But i ususally will never have the blue on.
feedback?

good job, but imho I don't think the m3 mirrors go with the shape of our car. I like the ganador style mirrors for our car or the spoon style. props! get them painted!

only reason they arent painted is cause its an LX. and if I paint them I have to get the handles painted too then its going to be alot of $$$ that I dont have right now.
Only thing getting painted any time soon is the ugly trunk chrome thing. that I am sick of and I am painting myself.

Looks good, i got the same, but different color. It was kind of a bitch to hook up the switches, turn signals, etc. Are yours power or manual?

edit: yes the install is fairly easy, but its time consuming and tedious!

like i said its an easy install, but there is ALOT to do.
you need to remove:
door panels, some dash trim panels, bumper, and the glove box to make it easier
so with all that off (30-hour alone) you are set to go. from then its alot of just running stupid wires. then soldering, taping over or heatshrinking, then re-assembling car.

wire taps you are talking about.
they are ok but i wasnt settling for them (but i did use one to grab signal for my A/F guage). I figured this time I would do it the right way. Which is always the much harder way. but yeah those arent that bad.

well here is the conclusion to the story:
I removed them!
They have next to no visibility. They were terrible. Looked pretty good with the amber but I couldnt see anything in them. either OEM or JDM mirrors for me from now on!
