Distortion and High Buzzing Sound

Has anyone ever had this problem? I just installed a Pioneer In Dash monitor running off of my Panasonic Cd player with an AUX output and hooked up to a Sony DVD player under the seat. The system sound great when the car is not driving. Once the car starts to move you hear this high pitched buzzing noise that's get louder as you gradually accelerate. Does anyone know the cause of this or a solution on how to solve this irritating noise? Could it be a bad ground? Help please. Thanks

Its alternator whine/noise. Its usually because you have a bad ground... check your grounds and relocate if necessary.. rep me

Bad Ground

Hi, thanks for the response. Can it be a bad ground on the DVD since it's located on the floor under the passenger side? Or can it be the ground from the other units such as the In Dash Monitor and the CD player in the dash? THanks

It could be any of them. Where is the DVD grounded? Or is it a house DVD player and ur just using an inverter?

most likely the result of a ground loop, recheck all your grounds and make sure they have solid contact with metal.

If that doesnt do it, try rerouting your audio output cables away from any stock wirelooms or power cables, since noise can be induced by nearby power sources
