as the title says

moreover, is there much difference btween 2,3,4 way in 6&1/2 speakers??

jus trying to save as much money as i can as it seems theres roughly a $100 gap btween 2way & 4way speakers. obviouisly there will b a difference but issert that noticible?? issert worth shedding that little much more money?

keep in mind that im deciding to go 6&1/2 all round & that i listen to hard trance, hard nrg, tekno n occasinally sum rnb. also if it helps, im deciding btween these 3 pioneer 6&1/2s:

R u going to amp these speakers? Do u still have a stock HU?

The difference is
2 way = woofer and a tweeter
3 way = woofer, midrange, and tweeter
4 way = woofer, midrange, tweeter, and supertweeter

basically the 3 will sound better than the 2 and the 4 better than the 3 because it can produce over a broader range. But here's the kicker. there r 2 ways that sound way better then 3 and 4 way speakers...

If ur not running an amp I would get the 3 ways. Those 2 ways just plain suck. and you wouldn't notice a difference between the 3 and 4 ways w/o the amp.

anything over 2way coxail's are pointless marketing to make easy money off of stupid ppl. if you want a good sound get a seperate component set with the tweeter and 6.5'' seperate. when u have 3way or 4way speaker they say they play a wider range which is true but unless they have a built in crossover inside the speaker the tweeter is playing as much bass as the woofer and same with the high's the woofers playing the same signal as the tweeter. to me that doesnt make sense and always sounds like h3ll personally.if ur lookin around 100bux check out rainbow, cdt, or lower end focal. also think about adding an amp for them if u want the best sound cause 16-18watt doesnt make good sound from a hu with nice components. just my 2cents
