I finally had the time to remove my rear deck... only took like 15 min. Anyways, i bought alpine 6x9s.... and was wondering.......... did you guys use quickslides or a wiring harness to connect to your new 6x9s?? Also, i plan on amping these in the future so i can get the best out of em!

never buy the harnesses! u get them for like $6 at BB and in reality they should only cost $.67. cut the plug and crimp on a connecter and ur ready to go... but u definatly need to amp those Type R's to make them sound decent cuz ur not doing those speakers justice with 14-26rms they need like 50-70rms... good luck man

Since I intend to never use the stock speakers again (throw them away), and I amp my speakers (even the 6x9s) I just use my own wiring.
