i have an ipod i and iwant to use it in my 7thgen 04 civic LX.... does anybody have this in their cars? http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/produ..._n=4&WT.mc_t=U

I dont have it but here's the thing w/ modualtors... they use FM signal which means u get FM quality music. if u travel alot that probably means that you will have to change which radio station that thing is set to if ur going to diff areas. cuz different areas use diff frequencies. I have heard them on XM and Sirius which basically r the same thing (they r both modulators & r the same as the ipod). anything else

yeah its the same thing that you would use if you want to add any audio source to a stock deck like a t.v. cd changer or sat radio. another thing you can do which is all together better is go get an alpine deck and the i-pod alpine adapter then you have a direct connect and you can control the ipod with the deck

the sound quality on those things suck. use RCA cables to connect you iPod directly to you HU.

if you absolutely MUST use an FM modulator, use a wired one (with antenna in/out) as opposed to the wireless, as I am assuming you want to mount this thing in the front of your car and the antenna in our cars is at the back, and that certainly will not help the already ****-poor quality that these things have
