What size tweeters are will fit the sail plate?

I have searched the forums and read which brands will fit the best; however, no one has listed the size tweeter required. Is it just a 1" inch tweeter? I am going to be installing my speakers and amp with in the next week and would like to install some tweeters to go along with this. Can anyone let me know what size tweeters will fit?

I understand that some modifying will have to be done.

No problem man.

I got the whole Kicker 6" component set for 114 shipped from ebay. (should have gotten 6.5's)

^^Nice. I had to grind around the edges and on the bottom for them to fit perfectly.

Mine were 4+ times that price, but I understand your reluctance

It's pretty much hit or miss...there are 3/4" tweets with a 3" mounting plate around them, and there are 1" tweets like mine that fit with no mods. It's all dependent on the housing shape and depth of the tweeter. Almost all tweeters will fit, you might just have to shave around the inside of the sail panel a bit.
