So one of the perks of finishing my required shop projects at mobile dynamics is that I get to use the shop to work on my own car. Tommorow I'm going to redo my trunk and looking for everyone's input. I allready have an idea in mind, but I want to see if anyone can offer and suggestions or improvements.
Currently I have all my amps, crossovers, and D-blocks crammed under the floor board between the spare and the rear bumper, it fits but looks like
so I was thinking of making a false floor raised high enough to flush my two amps on each side of the trunk and then using the space between the spare and the rear bumper for my power distribution with etched plexi in the false floor to view it. I'll probably wind up vinlying the false floor and using a trunk liner I sewed to cover it when im carrying stuff in the trunk
Or, I would push the spare as close to the rear of the well as possible and attempt to fit everything in the space between the rear seats and the spare.
Needs
1. Must keep spare (I have it pushed up as far up as will allow)
2. still need trunk space (nothing protruding from floor, I have my sub tucked away behind the passenger side tail in a FG box.)
3. I need to take advantage of having a fully stocked shop with everykind of material imaginable, all kind of speciallty tools, and professional installers.
I'm kind of leaning towards the first option, whats everyone's oppinion?
