Anybody put an oversized speaker into their front door?
Maybe like an 8" or 9" driver into the factory location........ details are nice

Rep Power: 380 it could be done, but you would have to do some custom fiberglass work and make a place for it in the door panel. just wondering on how long the door panel would stay on before the clips give becasue of the added weight.

Rep Power: 786 I am fully aware that it can be done. I know a guy at a rival shop that has it done in his sedan, but I am not going to go in there and ask to see it.

Rep Power: 0 not that oversized but i do have bigger ones in the front where we had to make a mount for it and everything...
i could ask my dad for some details on the mount but it was a pain in the ***, thats all i remember
