sugestions on I.C.E.

finally got my 05 reverb yesterday after 3 months of wait

Any sugestions on I.C.E.?

I'm planning on putting the pioneer AVIC-D1 HU, rockford 6001bd amp, rockford p3 12" DVC, rockford 1 farad cap and ps2. I also want to take out my rear speakers and put in components in the front and amp them with a 2 channel amp. what are good component? I'm thinking infinity. where should i put the ps2? what size are the factory tweeters? will infinity tweeters fit right in the factory spot?

Ok first off why woudl you want to run your speakers witha 2 channel. Why don;t you do components all the way around and run a 4 channel. Everything else you listed sounds awesome but if you run a 2 channel and decide to go to 4 speakers you will be running the amp at 2 ohms granted that you are running 4 ohm speakers which almost all are if not all. If your amp can handle it you will have sufficint power if not overpowering them with a not so clean signal. Run a 4 channel man save yourself the headache if you only want to amp 2 speakers for now just amp 2 and you can go from there in teh future. Ebay and www.ikesound.com is where i get my crap. crazy heap besides the mb quart 4 channel i picked up from crutchfield for 250.

What are you trying to accomplish though spl or sq? I like to think i know somewhat a lot about I.C.E... my only problem is making teh decisions for myself on what parts i piece my system together with. i hate buying stuff and not liking it.

I only want 2 chanel because i want to take out my rear speakers completly. as for the ps2, it's the new version. I don't want to put an xbox because I don't know why, but i can't play xbox, i have a hard time playing with that remote, i'm used to ps1 and ps2 remotes. and for the screen, i don't have to install a screen for the ps2 because the HU is a sceen.

Yeah, definitely don't need the rear speakers, I think you'd be better off getting a better/more powerful amp to power the components.

Don't need rear speakers, but rear fill is nice, especially when you have high quality rear speakers. If you go without rear speakers, you'll notice the difference and may change your mind.

I second that. Once you hear no rears you may def change your mind. It might sound okay at first but when you jump in someones car that has a ncie system with 4 speakers you will say damn. just my .02 but i believe rears are worth it.

Just get some decent speakers for your rear fill and spend more $$$ on the front components.
