I'm thinking he's asking if the Accord system will fit into the Civic (accord or other Acura ones, they're all the same)

basically go to the dealership and ask if the unit has EVERYTHING in the unit. if there are seperate wires, or sensors about the cars then its not going to work. ONLY if the unit is stand-alone will it work

if you want a navi system, go with the route i did, eclipse 5435 : http://slickssite.com/AVN2/IMG_0294.JPG

its cheaper, and it plays dvd movies, mp3 cd's, regular cd's, sirius sat radio. it has video inputs and outputs so you can feed a video signal to external LCD's, you can buy a backup camera also and connect it. its like $1800 MAP, $2000 retail i believe.

look into it.

If you want nav.. and this is just my opinion. I woudl build a custom car pc with nav and mp3. it woudl cost you less than 1000 for teh touch screen and teh pc and you woudl have a custon nav. Right there you get props from people for being creative. i see all teh touch screens ike ecl;lipse, alpine and pioneer and i say wow nice but i see a car pc and it actually impresses me as i am an audiophile. you coudl load it up with mp3s and do whatever you want to it to customize it. i am debating going that route but i don;t want to spend the money yet since i just icked my car up about a week ago.

Here are some sites that can help.

I hope these help and you could save a butload of money and have a crapload of features.

Agreed; for half the price of that Odyssey navi system, which is specialized only for that purpose, you could get yourself a P3 or P4 system with good enough hardware to smoothly run GPS (bonus, you can pick which GPS software you like, many of which you can add a skin to for further customization), mp3, CD, DVD, etc. Pretty much anything you can do with a home computer or laptop, you can do with a carputer. I couldn't be happier with mine, except for the fact that I've got wires hanging loose and I've been too lazy to tuck them away.
