power mirror problem
I have these M3 mirrors and I tried to see if they even work. I used the wires from the m3 mirror and plugged them into the stock mirror harness and they worked the motors and everything.
So, now when I plugged in the harness to the stock mirrors nothing works. I just checked the fuses and theyre fine. I plugged in the M3 mirrors and those dont work. So, I took a voltmeter and checked the harness and theres no current running through. Is it possible for the switch to work on the passenger side but not the drivers side?
I cant think of any other reason why its not working...any suggestions will help. Thanx!

maybe try pushing the power switch to the drivers side? just a thought. The simplest answer is generally the right one. Except in nuclear power, and then you are just screwed.

Yeahh, I tried that...the next thing Im going to test is plugging the drivers side mirror into the passenger side mirror harness and see what happens from there. Hopefully its just a fuse and nothing like the motor inside the mirror. Still....help is appreciated thanx!!

OK, I did some more testing this past weekend.
I unplugged both mirrors and plugged in the drivers side into the passengers side harness and it worked there. So, I know for sure its not the mirror itself.
I took a multimeter and plugged it into the harness. There are three wires 2+ and a ground. One of the + wires gives out a reading of about 3-5 volts. Normally the voltage output is about 11-12 volts.
Does anyone know why this would be happening? Any help is appreciated thanx!
