Bad subs and amps!

I just thought I'd tell you guys about some awesome subs and amps I found! The only problem is that they are made by brands a lot of people have never heard of (Audiobahn and Harrison Labs). The sub I found is a 34" that handles 5,000w RMS! That was NOT a typo! If you don't believe me, go here: http://www.ultimate-sounds.com/audiobahn/sub32.htm

Also, I found a company that makes some Class D amps that could power these monsters. They make mono sub amps ranging from 400w RMS to 10,000w RMS. No joke! I don't know how these subs or amps perform, but you have to have at least a little respect for their ratings! Go here to see the amps: http://www.hlabs.com/technical/amplifiers

Umm Audiobahn is a pretty popular name.. they're 34" sub has NO practical use for crap.. they're equipment in general is overrated..Not to say it's not good.. even products that don;t actually live up to their really high ratings are still better than most of the other stuff that's out there... But always avoid Audiobahn amps.

As for Harrison labs.. They invented Class-D technology and the 10000 watt amp is not really an amp but a modified Capacitor..known as the "Drag Queen" it's also run off a stock electrical system.. charges up.. for a few minutes and lets out a 3-8 second "burp" at 40-55hz... Hmm...looks like you know your stuff. I see what you mean about the 34" not being good for much (as a matter of fact, I don't really see what anything bigger than a 12" is good for), but I just thought it was kinda cool. As for the Harrison Labs amps, I had no clue that they invented class D. I guess I learned something. Also, about the "Drag Queen", I knew that it was called that, but I didn't see any specs on their site other than the fact that it was 10,000w. It didn't even mention being anything other than an amp. Anyway, I'm not worried about either, because I prefer Rockford Fosgate and Kicker subs. The only MTX I like is the RFL152. As for amps, pretty much the same. Fosgate and Kicker. Which reminds me, do you know if the Rockford Fosgate bd500.1 is 1-ohm stable? I'm wanting to run it at 2-ohms (dual 2-ohm coils wired in series, then two subs in the 4-ohm series config wired in parallel to the amp to get a 2-ohm load), but I am just curious about the 1-ohm thing. I currently have a Clarion APA-1200 mono sub amp (200w RMS @ 4-ohms and 300w RMS @ 2-ohms). I have used it with a 1-ohm load, but since it is not rated as being 1-ohm stable, I decided not to keep it that way. As my uncle would say, I don't want to let the magic smoke out, because once you let the magic smoke out, it won't work anymore.

The BD500.1 is not 1 ohm stable.. However I know 2 people running theirs at 1.33 ohms.. neither have had any troubles at all..But it doesn't produe any more power at 1ohm and may actually produce less..and run less efficient..
