4 directed 10's one directed d12 amp and custom box

i have another system i'mthinking about getting now... it has 4 directed audio 10'' subs with a directed D12 amp which is enough to power them quite a bit.. plus all the wiring kits i need and a custom box for my trunk.. now he's saying i can get all of this for around 1800 or he can make me a deal if i don't want to spend that much,,, now i want a nice system and i've heard this one bang... now what do all of you think i should do... go with the 4 10's or go with the adire audio 12....... any opinions are great....

Um, just so I understand this - you have four 600w RMS subs and ONE 1200w max power amp? If so, that's not powering them quite a bit at all. You would need 2 of those amps.

yeah i guess didn't realy look into it that much.... i'm still thinking about the other set ups that i might go with so... thanks for pointing that out..
