Gravity Subs
so i went to a audio shop yesterday to get my tint done and i was bs'ing with the owner and he was trying to sell me on "GR" Gravity subs. his claim was that they were a step above Kicker and they were one of the best subs out right now. lol! so i told him i wasn't sure..i'd never heard of them. he wanted me to check out his jeep. he had 2 12's with a 2800 watt GR amp. first he told me to get in and he plays this bass cd almost up to full blast and the thing was shaking my vision. it was so frucking loud i couldn't take it. i swear i had to open the door to let some of the sound out because my ear drums were going to pop haha.
but it was sounded like ****! sure they were loud as all hell but there was no definition in the bass just a bunch of undistinguishable(sp??) loud low tones that were hurting my head. and his amp...haha that thing looked funny. it was this tiny as$ dull silver amp that he said had 2800 watts. it looked about as big as my kenwood 800w.
the reason for this thread is to ask...well to bring up a point...that most audio shops sell crap. i'd never even heard of like 3 of the brands he carries. i think the only brand he had that i recognized was kicker and audiobahn. why do they have to carry these no name brands?
