cant get my system to work
i have a all alpine system 2 12" type s subs 2ohms with a mrd-m500 amp pushes 900 wats i also have a cda-9853 head unit 05 modle new i got the alpine type s rear speakers and front but i have it all hooked up my amp turns on and everything all my wires are hooked up right iv talk to everybody best buy ect and i tryed what they said and it wont work i get power to my amp but my subs wont play or do anything and i dun no what the prob someone help me
check ur remote wire from the HU. Also, check that no wires on ur door speakers are touching metal, decks have a safety feature on them and wont play if thats the case. Check ur fuses too just in case u blew one if u have a distribution block. Check the voice coils on the subs and make sure they're hooked up right. Check the deck itself, if it has a sub input, make sure the level is adjusted, or turned on. Make sure the RCA's are in the right spot. good Luck

it can't be the remote wire because he said that the amp turns on. Like umysugarmami said, it's probably the RCA's. On amps, you usually have the input and the pass-thru output to connect another amp, make sure you put it in the input. Also, on your HU, your sub-out maybe turned off. Go in your function menus and check if the sub output is on

heh
its not the remtoe wire, the amp turns on
the deck will not protect if there is a short, the amp will
there is no fuse problems, becasue again his amp turns on
check to see if you are getting signal
