Anyone want to give me their two-cents on this set-up?

I want a decent sound, I mostly listen to alt rock, I just want a louder-harder sound. Give me all your advice.. good or bad. Thanks

tweeter and amp kit = pure ****. i got the same tweeters for free and they litterally look like something you can find at the circus or recieve as a free gift at your high school grad night.

the rockford amp is prob the only thing i like out of the combo. the sub is ok, but if you just want a little boom, it could be something u may like. gaurantee you'll want to upgrade in the future.

i was a previous owner of a bandpass box and i hated it. never going with bandpass ever again. it may sound good at low/moderate volume levels, but if your trying to achieve spl/loudness, itd be an embarassment.


btw, when they say 300watts, that truly means 150rms as thats what really counts.


if you can list your budget for a complete system, how much trunk space your willing to sacrafice, your listening and music habits, favorite brands, etc. maybe someone can help you with a more detailed answer.

IMO, i'd stay away from that auction and research some more.
