Can I hook up my ICU to this 12v constant?
Ok, I was told my other thread was confusing with how I changed it all around, so I started this one.
So, my TSI ICU sucks. Its my fuel controller with my TSI Kit. It resets on me every time I start the car. It is hooked up to a few wires in the ignition harness. I found a way to keep it saving the settings. I hooked it up to 12v constant. So it is on even when my car is off. Will this drain my battery? Is it safer than leaving a light on in the car overnight? I figure it would be the same, but have no idea. I was told to hook it up to one so its always on. This is by somebody with a 5.0 mustang who is jealous of my car, lol. I am not sure if I should trust them.
So will this drain my battery in like less than a week? or should it last for a few months? This is definately an electrical problem, not a FI problem. Any help would be great. Thanks a lot!
Peace
