Well my bro and I finished the stereo install this past weekend. I think we worked for about 30 hours. I guess that's what happens with a couple of newbies... anyway, it seems as though we only have 3 out of the four channels working on the amp. We did a quick test and swapped the wires to be sure it wasn't the speaker or wire. Is there a way I can text at the amp output to see if that channel is putting out power?
Maybe I shouldn't have bought the amp from some dude on eBay...

useing a DMM at the speaker outputs or a short wire and speaker at the amp is always the best solution.
* oh yea JL has no online resellers and no warranty for anything purchased from the web or persons so if it is messed up good luck *

Call a local car audio shop and ask for amp repair shops, or how much they would charge to send it out. Expect to pay anywhere from $100-$250 depending on the issue.

JL AUDIO will let you send back their amps in some cases and let them fix it so that you can have it working, again. it may cost some change to do so, just hope that your serial # is still on the amp or JL wont work on it ir you want to gget it fixed, but NEVER buy JL products online due to their online policy of being able to work on malfunctioning electronics, when u actually get them!

upon reading this thread again it seems to me that a single channel on an amp as good as a JL would fail... play around with it for a few hours and see what you can come up with...
change your rca connections, check your rca's at the deck, change all your speaker connections, do a test with a short length of wire and a speaker... basically exhaust all other possibilities before sending the amp in
