Live always on power tap
Live always on power tap
I am looking for a always on power source to tap into and would like to do so without having to run an extra power line, something I tap by the fuse box. Is there an easy way to do this? It does not need major power, just enough to power an auto dim mirror. Any ideas. An ESM would be really helpful.

Sorry for all the questions, I am a nissan junkie and this is my first Honda. If anyone has an ESM that I could "look" at it would be appreciated.

you can use any of that. i wouldnt use the constant 12v like everyone else said. itll prolly drain ur batt w/in a nite.
no need to make mess and run straight to batt.

I wouldn't go all crazy and take out the radio or even mess around with the ignition harness, just go to your fuse box and find a fuse that gets 12V+ with the ignition switched. Then solder a wire to the fuse and there you go. Make sure you place an inline fuse whenever you are running power wires to a power source, 15 Amp fuse should be just fine. Have fun!
