i need to put my stock cd player back in my car, and i was just wondering if i need a the metal casing around the cd player? or if i could just put it back in..
if not i need to order the part from my hodna dealersship

you mean cd changer or head unit? if you mean head unit then yes cus thats what it bolts on to.

the head unit. i cant find my casing that goes around it..im not sure if i even got it back from where i got it installed

what did you get installed? i know for my aftermarket HU i still used the piece of metal and i used the installation kit that replaces the compartment below the HU also

i got it installed at best buy. i had an aftermarket HU and it just broke. pioneer is a piece of ****. so do u think the casing might still be on my cd player rite now? maybe ill just go to best buy tommorow and see what they say.

the OEM radio just bolted directly to the center consol frame thingy... sorry cant remember technical term fotr part.. im tooo tired

when you take out the pioneer you should be able to figure it out.. if you never did it befor it should take about an hour or so

if you are talking about the cage that goes around your head unit, NO you do not need that when installing the factory piece, just bolts in w/4 bolts

the support cage is for aftermarket headunits/receivers. doubt you'll need that to replace it with your factory head unit.

You definetly don't need anything except the four screws that screw into the stock HU. I just changed my stock HU back to stock, cause my pioneer deck is in for warranty. Mine didn't break on its own though. I had to bring it in cause I dropped the deck and the display doesn't work now...lol. I gotta wait another week until my deck comes back. The stock HU sucks, and this is the first time I'm ever using it. I took out my stock unit only 2 days after getting my car from the dealership...lol.

I need my mp3's and wma's. I hate this 20 songs on one cd. I need like 100 songs on one cd...lol.
