new speakers installed *pics*
I'm not sure if this thread belongs in the ICE forum or Member's Rides, but I'm gonna post it here anyways. I just got around installing my new component speakers, and added the spacers because these things are huge, and they were hitting my window. I mounted the tweeters in the door panels, even though it doesn't look all that great. At least it sounds good. Here's a couple of pictures of the speakers, and a couple more random ones of my head unit and my subwoofers. BTW, speakers are MB Quart PCE 216, subs are Infinity Kappa Perfect vq, and head unit is alpine 9833.
Enjoy

Looks clean man, nice work. You obviously took your time and it shows. Personally, I'd like the sub grilles better if you took the right one and tilted up so it matches peak to peak with the left. SO both grilles look like this ^. Just my $.02

anywayz, did you know that the quart tweeters will fit perfectly in the stock sail panel for an EX?

well, can't do anything about it now, I have freaking holes in my door panels. They look ok though.
Yes the grilles were purchased from parts express, and yes I just stuck the mb quart sticker on the front grilles for the speakers...Oh well

Those are pretty sharp girlles, looks tight.
Those are pretty sharp girlles, looks tight.I wanted grilles that look like the ones JL Audio has on their ProWedge boxes, but you can't get those separate, so I had to settle for these.
