Without amping? No, you won't notice an audible difference, and frequency response will go down a minute amount, again, not an audible difference. It's pointless to replace them without adding an amp. You don't get a wide of a spectrum of frequencies that they'll play, and the stockers are designed to be ran off of low wattage. Why fix it if it ain't broke?

They won't sound bad, nor will it hurt them to run them at less wattage than is "recommended", it's just pointless if you're not going to get the potential out of them. Response might be a little sluggish because of the low power being fed to them, but they'll still sound about the same as the stocks without the lower midbass/midrange frequencies.
