In Saabs, there is a button you can push that says night panel. basically what it does is shut off all dash lighting and instrument panel lighting, except for tach and speedo. I was just wondering if it would be possible to do this in our vics.

I know that buy following gearbox's diy for changing the color of led's you can. With mine I just added green led's for my needles and I left the white led's alone. With that in mind you can add what ever color led's you want, you would just have to run them in clusters of 3, like 1 cluster for rpm / one for speedometer/ and then gas. you would then control them by three dimmer switches.Also by that I mean you don't remove the small led's that are soldered to the curcuitboard you just cover them up, then add the new led's.

that exactly what i was going to say Or if you want to keep your stock color then youc an just cut the connection to some bulbs and wire them up to a seperate power supply ( fused )
