i might do one later. It's not really worth doing if you have a moonroof tho. For LX you should notice a difference.

somebody here i believe installed their face plate in their headliner that was connected to the deck via cat5 cable I believe
find out who that was and ask them... I haven't bothered trying this job yet, but I suppose it's only a matter of time

side note to usaf, when you start to get friction burn, that means it's time to STOP!

Dynamat the roof...so let me understand. Your roof rattles? What do you have? 3 15"s? 2500w amp? I mean geez.... I have 2 12" kenwood tornadoes (the older ones that rocked, not the new shitty ones) and I'm pushing them with a 600 watt amp and they are boomin' and I have very little rattle anywhere on the car, inside or out. Outside of the car, with my system up boomin' bass, there is no rattle! I'll tell you how I went from rattle to no rattle. Dynamat? Nope... I took my spoiler off. I had the EX with the spoiler and I took it off and shaved the trunk. All of a sudden, no rattle. Go figure. Something to do with the shape of the trunk and the weight distribution. Whatever...anyway my roof definitely never rattled. I think you must have something loose in there rattling around. I'm sure the people trying to sell you the dynamat probably convinced you that you need it at every part of the car with metal on it, but you don't.

Well the roof is a good source of road noise. If you put some sound absorption foam (not dynamat) the car will be quieter.

Cypher is an unknown quantity at this point
dynamat not only acts as a rattle stoper but it is also a good way to make the car more solid so music sounds better. The roof can be a good way for sound to escape so putting a denser material like dynamat can stop this from happening. Also like already mentioned it keeps road noise out.
