Guys I Need Help!!!
Hey guys..... when i put the sub "off" on my deck, i can still hear little bass notes from the sub comming, is it because of bad rca's? it never used to do this until now........
now the other question.... how much are new quality rca's and what is the price of labor??? thanks!

RCA's can make or break an install. But, there's one question to answer before accusing them as the culprit. Are your RCA's currently hooked up to a fading or non-fading output?
As for RCA's, Knuconceptz makes great quality RCA's at a really decent price. Monster are also quality, Just about every manufacturer makes a high end line (or higher end line) of their basic product. Believe it or not, this is one of the few times where you get what you pay for.

when i had my beats, my deck would do the same too. i leave the "LOUDNESS: OFF" but the sub will still beat a little eventhough i adjusted it so the bass is -6 or lowest. if i fade it to the front a little more, it'd go away though. so i think my sub was conjointed with my rear speakers.
hope that helps.
monster cable makes RCA's but are pricey, but rcas are a very important role of wirings. i wouldnt go too cheap on those. last time i seen it was for $30 at goodguys for rca cables.
labor: its only replacing the rcas with something better, im guessing $40-$60? cause you have to do the same procedure as if it were installing a new deck. unless you have the key tools that came with your deck where u can just pull it right out using the special tool(s).

Jttegx, your sub is hooked to the rears because they used the fading output (ie the one you're hok into were you controlling the rear/fronts). The non-fading (os sub) output is to control the sub only. Plug your RCA's in the one that says non fading or sub on it and then do your adjustments.

when i disemable my deck, there were only 2 pairs of rca slots. heres a photo of how my rcas are connected. the whtie/red cable are "front outputs" which was NOT connected for my amps rcas. the 2 blue rcas is for my amp as u can see there connected in the photo below. i think my deck just doesnt have a specific rcas meant for subwoofer?
