I never had problems with my stock deck. I've used it for 9 months and never skipped on me.

i've had my stock deck the entire time, and it's only skipped twice on me. one time was when i hydroed and hit a curb (dented steelie, so i had to get a new steelie). the other time i hit a washout (basically a diagonall ditch in a dirt road for water to drain off through) kinda hard, and it skipped. but other than that, it's been fine! (CHECK YOUR CDs. ARE THEY SCRATCHED LIKE A BIZNIT-E-O?)

did you put springs on your car, and not replace the shocks? That'll make it skip when you hit a bump.

If you have a scratch on a cd, the cd is much more likely to skip w/ the stock HU than with a quality A/M.
