deck light dims without system, might need cap?

i have a 6.5" component set and 6x9s in the rear running off a 50x4 pioneer deck. when i listen to music that puts out lower bassy notes and when the bass hits from the speakers, the lighting on the deck dims little. i do plan to put a sub and amp in my ride eventually, so i ask: would this be a sign to invest into a cap since my deck light dims even without my system? its noticeable if you pay attention to it, but no other lights dim when the bassy notes hit off the car speakers.

anyone else have this small problem?

no big deal, just run the constant power lead directly to the battery, and run the ground to the chassis of the car. Problem solved.

To clarify, the constant power (yellow) lead of the head unit directly to the battery, instead of the one in your radio wiring harness.

It's strange though that your deck needs more power than your factory power lead can provide.

If you dig deep into the bowels of the installation instructions, they mention it in passing. Most high power MOSFET head units will be happier going right to the battery.

Nope. Check your door switches.
