Talking I just bought my system!!!

Infinity 12" Subwoofer: INI 1230W
Infinity 260 Watt 2-channel power amplifier: REF7520A
Infinity 4 channel Amplifier amp: REF7541A
Infinity 6-1/2" Two-way component system (front): REF6000CS
Infinity 6" x 9" Three-way (rear): REF9603I
Pioneer P6700 Head Unit.

i got an INCREDIBLE deal. i was in circuit city, and i happened to see 2 old high school friends. And they just so happen to work in the CAR AUDIO INSTALL. They get 65% off!!! And thats exactly what i got! It was suppose to come out to $1,010.00, but i got it for $480.00!!! I was so thankful, because i was stressing about the cost to have a decent system.

Whats everyone think?

Thanks guys!
-Christopher

If you were getting such a deal on the rest of the gear, IMO you should have splurged on the deck and gone into the Premier line. Nice job on keeping your connections, though. Networking's important.

nice...my system came out to around that much too (about 400) cuz i work at Circuit City's competitor "The Good Guys." I also work in Car Audio, but in sales, not install...

here's what i got :

JL Audio 12" W3V2 Sub
Eclipse 400w Amp
Eclipse Point Source 6x9's
Eclipse Point Source 6 1/2's
Sony CDXM610 Head Unit (also bought somewhere else like you did... but soon to be replaced by a Alpine CDA9847)
Monster Cable 1 farad Cap
Monster Cables All around

And I personally also like Infinity too... very good choice... the only thing is that I think you should get a more powerful amp...

It says 260w MAX but its probably only going to put out around 200w RMS (continuous power) @ 4ohms (your sub is 4 ohms).... if i were you, i'd return the amp and get a nice Class D, 300-350w RMS @ 4ohms amp... cuz the amp you got right now will work fine, but it won't utilize the sub's full potential...
