It's been a while since I installed an amp under a seat, but I was thinking of moving my amps there to maximize trunk space (for those summer hauls).

Anyone have any insights on installing amps under our seats?

I had my sub amp under the passenger seat for a few weeks and it wasn't a great idea. The amp had no room to cool down, and all the people that were sitting in the back seat kicked it.

yeah tell me about it. My amps are too big that it wont even fit under the seat. My brain is under the seat and people whack the hell out of it. So everytime the freagging wire gets stuck onto the seat rail making my seat not be able to move up and down... freagging annoying. Thats why I dont like alot of people in my car at once...

I have the amps under the seats and no problem. No one is ever in the back seat, and if they were let em kick the heatsinks!

Only issue I had was the spring assembly on the pass. side. It had to go.
