I'd worry about the fronts first. You can get as god or better 3-ways for what you'd pay for those by the way. JL makes great product, don't get me wrong. It won't die on you. Their amps and subs, especially, are bar none to everything else out there. The components and coax's aer decent, but you can get much better.
Personally, I have ran the same JL 500/1 amp for 3 years, it's never even broke sweat. You won't have a bit of trouble out of their amps. I've also had some of the w3v2's. They're alright, and a good mid entry level line. Personally, I prefer the W6v2 line, but that's just me. For a cheaper alternative, I'd look into the Adire Brahma, and the Image Dynamics IDMAX.
Just my $0.02

I've never been a fan of their speakers...tweeters are a little soft for me, although they are VERY smooth. Their amps and subs are excellent though! I've had my 500/1's for over 3 years and they still run great.
