Help me build my system

Hey ppl, i have learnt a lot browsing thru this site. and im very thankful to a lot of u for that.

now that spring is around the corner, im thinkin of upgrading my sound system. and im not too experienced at this stuff so i got some questions

right now i got:
Pioneer Deck: DEH-P7600MP
Rockford Fosgate Punch P3001 Amplifier
Infinity 1230W 12" Subwoofer installed in a custom sealed box.

what i wanna get is:
a 2nd sub, (same as the infinity i already got.)
components for the front, which will require an amp
and rear speakers.

my main question for now is:
will i be able to do the upgrade i want without gettin rid of the 1 channel amp i have? i know i can hook up 2 subs to that amp. but i dont know if it'll deliver enough power to 2 subs. pls check the amp and sub specs and lemme know. for example, can i use the current amp i got to power my components and get a more powerful amp for my 2 subs?

thx!

You could easily find a component set that uses 150 watts per side (mid and tweet). As for what all you're wanting to do, I'd recommend replacing the fronts only, and either ditching the rears, or keeping the stock ones in there ran off of the deck. Without a budget, types of music you listen to, focus on SQ or SPL, etc, it's hard to give a decent recommendation.

well thats what i got in mind
rear speakers powered off the head unit
components powered from the current amp i got (if possible)
buy a new amp for the 2 subs, which i will prolly be having in a sealed box.
i mostly listen to rap, hiphop and some drum n bass. what im lookin for is just more bass, without eliminating the mids/treble comin out the stock speakers i got right now. so for that im gonna need to change speakers too.

If that's the case, I'd probably say to go with a tweet such as an infinity tweet, or something of that ilk as they play highs really well, on the brink of being harsh. I'd also recommend something such as the Adire Audio Koda for the mid and a seperate crossover for them. As for the subs, how much trunk space are you willing to sacrifice? You also never said your budget (which is why I basially recommended a budget setup) nor if you were concerned with SQ or SPL. So I didn't recommend a sub based on that.

budget doesnt matter.
whats more important is that i got hookups for some infinity, pioneer and rockford fosgate products.
so im only lookin into their stuff.
infinity and pioneer for speakers and rockford for amps. and abt the sub, as i mentioned b4, i already have 1 infinity sub so i'll add another 1 of 'em.

what u guys think of these for the fronts:

Infinity REF6000CS Components

and of course i will want them powered by Rockford Fosgate Punch P3001 Amplifier if its possible, cuz i already have this amp and wanna make use of it

i really need help knowing if these 2 items will work good together, technically. i mean what specs do i need to check? the watts at 2 ohms and 4 ohms, and rms **** is gettin me all confused hehe and also the fact that the amp is a 1 channel amp, will it still be ok to run components with it?

help!

thx!

For your music tastes, I wouldn't go with Infinity components. They are lacking in the midbass department. The tweets would be fine, but the mids wouldn't get low enough to mask the frequency gap between the sub and mid well enough.

im not worried abt the quality of the components for now, i just need to make sure my current amp will be ok for components.
although i think not, cuz its a 1 channel mono amp. so i guess it wont reproduce sound in stereo for the components which come in pairs of course, left/right.

bottom line is, i just wanna know if i can build a system like i mentioned in the first post, WITHOUT gettin rid of the current amp i got. cuz i got trouble understanding for what i could use it in, and i dont wanna see it lying around in my bedroom...
