deck problem
I've always loved my Pioneer DEH-6400, but yesterday when I turned it on, on the way to school it showed the Compact Disc logo (as usual) but then it just went blank .. it didnt "load" the cd at all.. so I turn it on and off... get it working.. its fine
today .. almost the same thing happens except this time it starts fine.. 2 blocks down the road it starts to sound like a radio station fading (and its a cd of course) so I try the usual, off/on seek thru songs.. I get it working again... then when it skips to the next song it sits there spinning the disk (loud enough to hear it easily) then starts ticking.. so I take the cd out and put a different one in.. works fine. I just burned that cd today so it could be messed up, but this is the 2nd day in a row it's given me problems.. of course my cds have been in the car all night.. and when I grab one it gets a little bit foggy because its so cold ... if I waited until it wasnt foggy then I'd never listen to anything because it'd b cold my entire way to school... so anyone have any ideas as to what the problem is? is it the foggy cds getting moisture in the deck? (the cd i burned today of course came from inside so it was warm, and still gave me probs. but again it could have just been a burner fvck up..)
Summary: my deck has given me crap the past 2 days and seems to be having problems when it's cold, or maybe just problems in general..
sorry about making this so lengthy I just wanted to completely explain the problem
any help/suggestions are appreciated..
thanks,
-Aaron

Sometimes condensation forms if you brought cd from inside and try to play it. Just let everything get cold and see what happens later.

I'll go ahead and try that, atleast everytime i've had a problem it always ends up working again, i'd b pissed if it bit the dust.. cause then i'd have to hold off on getting HIDs even longer
