Bad amp...maybe??

I just purchased a Infinity 4-Channel Amplifier (7541A) to push my front components and rear coaxials, and even though I got it for a sick *** price (140 shipped) brand new, I might have made a mistake. I read a few reviews, and some people had problems w/ the amp clipping. Anyone had any experience with this amp?? I guess I got the revised model of the Infinity 7540A, since they just came out with this one about 2 weeks ago. Pls give me some feedback on this amplifier. The thing is I don't think I can return it, since I bought it from the C.C. accomodations site. Thanks!
here's a link of the amp

Clipping is a signal input incompatability. Granted the amp does have a hand in this. Any amp will clip at high volume if it's input level is only 2 volts and you run it off a 4 volt pre-out headunit. let me check the specs of the amp...

my pre-outs on the hu are 4v, and the amp can take up to 5.5v
anyways, I installed it in my car last night and this thing is fvcking loud. My polk components are rated at 100w rms, but there's no way they can handle this amp. For 124 bucks + shipping, I couldn't have gotten a better deal.

No, actually, I was wondering why so many people made bad reviews on it, and I wanted to see if anyone here owns it, to get some feedback
