sub/amp problem

sub/amp problem

runnin' a MTX 251 roadthunder amp wit a 12 inch Eclipse Subwoofer
2003 sedan LX

anyways so when I turn on car amp power light goes on and as soon as I turn on my deck panasonic cq 8300u no power to amp and no boom boom from ma sub. This just started a couple of days ago besides that has been working just fine since the original install. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

You installed this yourself???? Do you know if the remote wire was connected properly?? The remote wire is a blue with a white stripe. If it's connected properly then it's either a problem with the amp or the deck.
If you have a test light or a multi-meter you can easily check the remote wire at the amp to see if it has 12V positive when you turn the deck on..... OR it could always be the fuse at the battery.

Check those things and let us know.

Could be RCA cables unplugged or Speaker wire too. Also, the amp might be in protection mode.

I got the whole system deck amp sub and speakers done professional. Just called the install place. apparently there is an issue with the panasonic cqc 8300u and just random electrical issues occuring. So gonna have to replace and try different which really burns my *** cuz Panasonic is the only one I know that makes a deck in gun metal.

So new question anyone know of another brand of deck made in gunmetal?
