honda stock radio...
i seen the new civic commercial and inside it had this nasty radio...anyone know were i can get this?
anyone have this radio

i dont know if it was the 2005 civic limited edition commercial...

I actually wish it was black like in other countries..Oh well I know a few people that would want it though

if I remember correctly they have the matching silver panels around it in the actual car...

Yes its my Car and the unit does not have preouts which sucks but you add a prout unit to the speaker wires...

I love this Unit its 634 dollars canadian plus you can add a 80 dollar remote..This is all canadian money of course...

save your money and buy an aftermarket deck with double hte quality and triple the features for less money

Well I guess to each his own ..I didn't feel like cutting the OEM harness to plug an aftermarket radio and im not going to be in any sound competetion so i figured what the Hell and Got a Nicer OEM system than the usual ones we have in our civics..Actually the sound is better it plays MP3's and is a 6 disc so for me its more than enough..Also it doesn't make the car depreciate either.. ive seen alot of friends who were stuck having to put back in their stock radio when trade in time came along cuz they would lose money with aftermarket audio components...

I think that black one looks really nice. I don't think the silver looks too bad though.

BTW, you don't have to cut the OEM harness to install an aftermarket deck. I think I could put in my stock deck in under 10 minutes.

What kind of setup do you have? I'm running 600 watts to 2 rockford 12's and it skips from time to time...since the day the system was installed. The car vibrates a lot. It doesn't do it to my MP3 CD's (as far as I've noticed) but it does with regular audio CD's.

they make addapter harnesses to fit our cars.. if yer nice to the install guy at bestbuy he will just give you one..

To me, it's worth paying half of what you did for and aftermarket unit and removing it when I sell the car. That's a saving of at least 200 dollars. Besides you'd probably leave that indash 6 disc in the car which you don't get any more credit for during trade in (NADA and Kelley Blue Book don't add for it), so you'd be out the 6 hundy canadian either way. In relation to opportunity cost, sound quality, and $'s, it just doesn't make any sense!
