I have 04 VP/dx and as you know they dont have tachometer, so basicly i have to listen to my engine most of the time if i really want to race or push my car lil harder. Im looking to buy tach. I dont want anything big like those 5in tachs unless they look good like Apexi tach. I more looking for Digital tachometer, i tought it would look nice, does anyone have one here? And also im thinking about 2-1/16in tachometer and single gauge pod, what do you guys think. Also i saw nice performance meter at www.gtechpro.com , check it out and tell me what you think.

AutoMeter's AutoGauge line has smaller tachs that I believe are 2 5/8" that you can mount in a pod or on the steering column.

As far as a gidital tach, I have the Defi VSD Concept.

I only have the VSD Concept as a standalone so it displays speed, tach (digitally when not moving bar at top when moving), and has a two stage shift light with seperate audible warnings.

With the Defi Link control box and sensors, it can display oil press, oil temp, fuel press, water temp, EGT, and can use those parameters to offer warnings and to let you know when the vehicle is completely warmed up.

where did you hook it up. the wires? and also can it just display RPMs alone without speed mph.

it will only show RPM digitally at idle, but the sliding bar up top acts as a tach, plus with the shift lights, the actual tach readout isn't important.
