so, i get my kicker 10's, love em and all that, but, i dont have a box, so i go ebay....

^looks ok to me, i mean, how can they screw it up?
well...
the friggin openings for the subs are .5 inch out, and not even on the right angle, i mean, kickers have rounded edges, the damn box has right angles..i'm pissed. no more ebay for me, the future looks grim for customer service, as they want to charge me 15% restocking, and make me pay to ship it back. the ebay listing says its for the L5/L7........ any ideas on a fix? or should i sell it to some poor sap?, maybe i can put a board across the front with the proper cut out? screw it, man, i'm pisssed, i shoulda just bought locally. i swear, i'll never use ebay again, yu never get what yu pay for unless its a grill cheese.

Well, I've never had a problem with e-bay. Whats a link to the auction item? Does it have there return policy? Do you have an l5 or l7 sub?

How much modificaton needs to be done to properly mount your sub?

Tell them that they are comiting fraud by saying it will work with your sub when it obviously doesn't and that you are going to report them to ebay and leave bad feedback. And take any nessasary action to get back all shipping charges and the money you paid for it if they don't take it back and pay for shipping.

well...i called em, and theyre sending me a new box, they said maybe it was cut wrong,, whatever..we'll see if the next ones any good. if not, i'll maybe sell em off.

i'm paying the shipping, but, i can make it all back, th eboxes are big enuff for 12's, so, i might just cut em to fit 12's, and cut em with teh proper curves, not the bloody sharp angle on the one i got.
