Moisture in Inline-Fuse Holder?

Hey all, I keep having a problem with both of my amplifiers cutting out in the middle of play, thus no more subwoofer and front speakers. My rear speakers work though cause they are run off my HU. Well anyways, the inline fuse holder in the engine bay is kind of old, about 2 years atleast and the seals are kind of breaking apart. This problem with my amplifiers cutting out started a couple of days ago and I didn't notice any condensation in the fuse holder, and eventually power came back to my amplifiers. Yesterday though I washed out my engine bay. Today the amplifiers cut out again and when I checked the fuse holder, there was condensation in it. Does moisture in the fuse holder somehow screw up the connection? Thanks.
