NO sound but i have power

I just finished putting in my alpine 9831 headunit, the power works, remote works, but i have no sound, i will pull it out tonight and check the harness, but any ideas before do, you think i crossed the positive and negative, or something, i have no sound from any speaker. thanks

yes everything plugged in fine , the only wires i had left over were the orange w/ white strip for the dimmer on the wire harness side, and on the radio side, i had one one that said int in and remo, one is for the amp and the other i cant remper waht it is but i saw it in the manual and it wasnt needed i thought

It's not necessary to start a new thread everytime you have an issue with this install, you can just post in your original thread.

Anyway, maybe this helps, as honda has used relatively the same wiring since 1997-1998:

Double check your wiring, and make sure you have solid connections all around, and check to make sure it's wired correctly...

yea sorry i know, but it sucks cause i was just sitting in my car looking at all the great colors and playing with every other feature but hearning nothing sucks, and it didnt seem like people were replying anymore to the other threads and i just wanted help like right away with this, but im suprised i got all the battery and igniton ones right if i didnt get the speakers one right, im also suprised that none of them work and its not like i crossed one side, so im guessing i have the postive negative mixed up or the right with the left or something, but just looking for ideas thats all

i just pulled the harness again, and im looking at the wires for the speakers right now and the color looks like they are matched up right, so should i say screw it cut them and recrimp them again? casue i have the striped with the striped and the solid with the solid, and the colors are matched up as best they can be....

nevermind my mom realized i had two wires crossed the igniton/acc with the left rear + damn it sucks to be color blind, thanks everyone again for putting up with me
