Unhappy FUBAR'd tweeter

On my way back to my apartment after thanksgiving I had a bit of a run in with a deer. Luckily for me the only external damage to the car was an entirely sheared off passenger side mirror and 2 small dings which I should be able to tap out.

Unfortunately, my tweeter somehow managed to have the leads entirely torn from it and the diaphagm was totally collapsed. The thing is screwed. I popped the diaphragm back out, but it's still totally deformed and missing leads.

This wouldn't be such a big deal, but I have a set of Audio Development AD60's in my car and there are no dealers in the US anymore that I know of. Shipping would be retardedly expensive and take forever to get another set of T10's.

Anyhow, I'm wondering if anyone would have any suggestions for a set of replacement tweeters. The T10's were extremely detailed and not harsh at all. My components sounded much more detailed in the high end than the CL-61's that one of my friends had, so I'm looking for something pretty high end to replace them.

I am aware that using another set of tweeters isn't exactly optimal, since the crossovers won't have been designed for them. I really don't have the cash, however, to go buy a new set of components.

If you have any recommendations let me know; keep in mind that I am very sensitive to harsh high end, though. I am somewhat partial to softdomes, but the metal variety is fine too, heh.

I am also aware that this is a lame post and that I am, if fact, a lazy bastard. Feel free to remind me, though. I am also aware that getting another set of tweters other than an AD set is likely a stupid idea and I should stop being cheap impatient and just have a set imported from Europe (which reminds me, if you know of somewhere that sells AD speakers in the US let me know).

Anyhow, that's it. Thanks for the reply's whether they be help or flames.

I really do like, on the other hand, that you had a run in with a deer and your tweeter is your biggest concern

Hey man, I gotta have my tunes when I'm cruising.

Seriously, though, the other stuff will be easy and less expensive to fix than replacing that damn tweeter. I can either buy a new set from a different company or have a single replacement tweeter shipped from Italy.....
