Question Distinct noisy vibrations from stock subs?

if anyone has encountered this problem please help me ASAP...ever since i got my car from the dealer there has been a distinct vibration noise in the back of my car where the stock subs sit. it sounds like plastic vibrating on plastic and its a bit noisy. should i take it to the dealer or is it just a simple bolt that needs to be tightened? it got worse when i put in my 12 inch subs so please help...thanks

Are you sure you're not hearing what you're supposed to hear? Otherwise, take it to dealer. I'm surprised you didn't get this taken care of when you first got the car.

I'm guessing you mean the speakers and the rear deck lid. That thing can rattle alot, especially against the glass. You can try putting foam pieces stuffed around the edges or just take it off and lay down some dynamat.

I figure by stock subs you mean either the 6.5 inch or 6x9 peices of cardboard speakers you have. thats probably the rear deck rattling, theres a simple solution to that. Buy a bmw and you wont hear the rear deck rattle :P

its a bitch and adding bass wont help.
