Disabling stock transmitters
Disabling stock transmitters
I know I asked last week, but I couldn't manage to find the brain, what does the brain look like? is it marked? whats the best way to get next to the cigarette lighter, I can pull out the center console (where my deck is) really easy, can I Reach the brain from there? Any chance i could get some pics or atleast an idea of where it is based on pics from the DIY?
Is there any fuse I could pull instead of doing this?
THe reason Im doing this is because I lost 1 oem transmitter and have an aftermarket one, is there anyway I could just change the code on the transmitter I still have so the other one wont work?

anywhere around here?

I have no idea what you are trying to do or really what you are looking for.
But maybe this site will help:
http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/...catdisplay.jsp
There are diagrams for all the parts on the car.
Happy hunting.

im looking to disable the factory gray little 3 button remote controls that come stock with the 01 LX. I have an aftermarket Clifford alarm system with 2 way remote control and no longer need or want the little grey remote to work.
Sorry if I was unclear and thanks for the promt replys

what color is it? What kind of connector is it? Is it like the ones on the back of a cd deck or different?
