Ok, I have 300w to work with, give me some options. I prefer sq over spl. I currently have a type-r 12, but I'm adding a second amp and 2nd sub, so now's the time to upgrade! Oh, and it has to be available in 2 ohm (either single 2 ohm or dual 4 ohm). I'm just trying to find some options.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but thats a dvc sub with dual 8 ohm vc's. Not going to work for me, unless it works great off 150 wrms.

I'm running an xtant 603x right now. I will also be adding an xtant 301a for a second sub in the near future, thats why i'm asking now before i buy another type-r. I dont get deals on them anymore, so nows as good a time as any to consider using a different sub.

i have a type-r as well. i was thinking about adding another one but i think i'm adding new speakers instead. i'm probably going to buy them this week. good luck with finding the sub that you want!

I've been considering the idq too, but the cheapest I've found them is $199 at sounddomain. I don't have a dealer around here - that i know of at least, so would it be worth the extra $300 for them?

i got 2 rockford fosgate stage 1 subs with 1 mono bridged rockford fosgate 3001 amp. i think the amp is 900w peak and 300w rms. they sound great and im satisfied with them
